As the 29-year-old paddler posed for some pictures for the paparazzi, she proudly showed off her nail art which instantly became a social media trend. Though she did not opt for a longer length, her opaque white nail paint on short square nails complimented her uniform. What showed her patriotism was how she incorporated her country’s flag colors in her accent fingers. The tricolor on her index fingers and the Olympic logo on the ring fingers showcased her dedication to her game.
India got a splendid start after Manika, along with her teammate, Sreeja Akula, won the Round of 16 clash 3-2 defeating Bernadette Szocs and Adina Diaconu.
